The Johnson & Johnson Global Leadership Profile defines the critical behaviors that characterise and establish effective leadership at all levels of our organisations. This framework serves as a means for self-assessment and supports effective discussion between employees and their managers.
The Global Leadership Profile, with our shared values at its core, promotes a consistent approach to selecting and developing leaders. As the basis of succession and development planning, it provides a pipeline of exceptional talent within and across the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies.
The Johnson & Johnson eUniversity uses Internet technology to make a wide range of learning and development systems available. Employees can self-select to undertake online courses that may be specific to a particular function, region, or operating company.
Learning and Development Programs
The company offers an extensive range of training programs to employees at all levels of the organisation. Our initial DevelopYou program helps employees align their goals with that of the company and to determine a development plan. Our management and leadership courses range from an introductory “New Manager Survival” training through to courses such as Management Fundamentals, Negotiation Skills, Mentoring Essentials, SMART Selection, Influence in the Workplace, Leadership Development Centre and the Apollo Leadership Program.
Leadership Development Programs
For select functions, Leadership Development Programs offer recent university graduates an accelerated development experience. Led by functional professionals, these programs typically offer rotational assignments over a two-year period, allowing recent graduates to experience a range of company environments across several business segments.
